One thing that I always find amusing, is the fact that people wait until the end of the year to make resolutions. If your resolution is to make money fast, is it not counterintuitive to wait until the end of the year? Of course it is. 1. You Must Be Relentless
Remember folks, the goal is to make money fast. This is nothing less than a challenge. What do you do when face with a challenge? You put forth your absolutely best effort. At least I hope that you do.
2. Define Your Goals
Are you setting goals which you can actually achieve, or are you being overzealous? For example, the person who says that they want to make money fast, then states that they want to earn $3,000,000 in the next six months is not setting achievable goals. While it is great to set challenging goals, there is a difference between challenging and ridiculous. You can still make money fast, and not appear to be out of touch. Moreover, setting unrealistic goals is setting yourself up for disaster.
3. Die Hard
You have to know upfront that you will face obstacles, and predetermine how you will act in the face of these inevitable obstacles. Of course, the best strategy is to determine that you will work even harder in the face of adversity.
4. Celebrate Success
More than likely you have set a time parameter by which to measure your how successful you were in achieving your goal to make money fast. Of course, if you set a New Year’s resolution, your time parameter could be the conclusion of the year. Once you have determined that you have hit your goal, you have to do something to reward yourself. Buy something that you have always wanted, or go somewhere that you have always dreamed of travelling to. If you do not achieve your goal within the time parameter which you have set, keep working and then reward yourself once you have achieved your goal.
With all of that being said, too many people are focused on goals to make money fast. The truth is that they should be focused on goals to make money consistently for the long-term. Would you prefer to make $10,000 in three months and nothing thereafter, or build a business which takes twelve months to generate $10,000 each and every month? I know what my answer is.
